This policy explains what happens to personal information when you visit Login To Our Life, contact us or register interest in RELAY 116 123.
Who we are
Login To Our Life is operated personally by Stephen Docza and Terri Docza. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email welcome@logintoourlife.com.
Information you send us
Join RELAY: we ask for your name, email address and permission to contact you about participation. You can also give your approximate location, preferred way of joining, distance or activity preferences and a message. This helps us respond and discuss suitable sections when plans are confirmed. Registering interest is not a booking or a newsletter subscription.
Partners enquiries: we collect your organisation, contact name, email, organisation type, message and enquiry-contact permission. Optional information includes your website, areas of support and approximate budget or value. We use this to consider and reply to your proposal.
Media enquiries: we collect your name, outlet, email, enquiry type and message, with an optional deadline, so we can respond to your request. If you email us directly, we receive the information in your email and any attachments.
Required fields are marked on each form. There is no legal obligation to use these forms; without the necessary contact details we may be unable to answer or follow up. Please do not send medical histories or other sensitive personal information. Keep messages to what we need to answer your enquiry. These forms are not a crisis-support service.
Where enquiries are kept
Forms are stored in our website’s WordPress database through Elementor Submissions and sent as email notifications to our welcome inbox. Submission records also include the form and source page, date/time, IP address, browser information and contact-permission choices. We currently manage enquiries in WordPress and email, rather than exporting them to a separate contact or marketing system.
We do not sell enquiry details or add you to a mailing list because you contacted us. Permission to discuss RELAY participation or answer an enquiry is separate from any future marketing permission.
Why we use information
For ordinary enquiries and RELAY interest administration, we rely on our legitimate interests in replying to people who contact us, managing requests and organising the project. For basic security and abuse prevention, our legitimate interest is keeping the website and its forms safe and usable. We limit use to what is needed for these purposes and consider your rights and reasonable expectations.
We rely on consent for optional embedded-media storage and access where required. You can change that choice through Cookie Settings. If we must keep or disclose information to meet a specific legal obligation, that obligation is the basis for that use. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated processing.
Comments and ordinary visits
Where comments are open, WordPress collects the comment and the details you enter, together with technical information used to manage comments and reduce abuse. Your published name and comment are visible to other visitors; your email address is not displayed as part of the comment. Please avoid posting private information about yourself or other people. External Gravatar avatars are disabled.
Our hosting and security services receive technical request information such as IP address, browser details and requested pages to deliver and protect the website. We have not enabled a separate visitor-analytics or advertising-pixel service on the current site.
Cookies, videos, maps and external links
Necessary storage supports security, your cookie choices and requested website functions. Optional YouTube content is blocked until you allow it. Enabling a video connects your browser to YouTube/Google, which receives request information and may use its own storage under its policies. You can withdraw through the permanent Cookie Settings control in the footer.
The Route page first shows a local overview. Opening its interactive map connects to OpenStreetMap for tiles and unpkg for the map library. Those services receive your IP address and normal browser/request information. The map does not need your device’s location to show the planned route.
Links to JustGiving, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal, Revolut and social networks take you to separate services. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. The current website does not contain an on-site charitable donation form. See our Cookie Policy, available from the footer, for storage details and controls.
Service providers and overseas processing
Website-hosting, security, backup and email-service providers process information as needed to provide those services. Hosting is arranged through GoDaddy; our welcome mailbox is also arranged through our email provider. Installing WordPress or Elementor does not itself mean every enquiry is sent to those software companies. We do not routinely send registration or enquiry details to charities, sponsors or other participants.
Some providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK or European Economic Area. The applicable protections depend on the provider and service. Contact us if you would like information about the arrangements relevant to your information. External services you choose to open, such as YouTube or donation platforms, explain their international processing in their own privacy notices.
How long we keep information
We review general enquiries for deletion 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We review RELAY registration details for deletion six months after participation or the campaign ends, or following withdrawal. These reviews cover both WordPress records and email. We keep information longer only where needed for an unresolved issue or a legal requirement. This is a review process, not an automatic deletion timer.
Published comments may remain with the article while they provide relevant discussion; you can ask us to review or remove your comment. Security logs and backup copies follow the relevant providers’ retention processes and are not treated as an active enquiry list. Cookie durations are explained in the Cookie Policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy where that right applies. We may need enough information to verify your identity before dealing with a request.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to explain your request. You can also tell us that you no longer want participation contact. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Where EU data-protection law applies, you can also contact the relevant supervisory authority in your country. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the chance to help.
Keeping this policy current
We will review this policy when our operators, forms, services or use of information changes. The date above shows the latest review. A future shop, mailing list or different business structure will need its own updated information before it is introduced.
