This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by Login To Our Life, and the choices available to visitors in the UK and Europe. It reflects the current website, not a list of every cookie that WordPress or our plugins could potentially use.

Your choices

Choose Accept optional, Reject optional or Preferences in the banner. Optional external media stays off until you allow it. Necessary storage remains available to keep the site secure, remember your choice and provide functions you request.

You can reopen Cookie Settings in the footer at any time. Rejecting or withdrawing optional consent blocks YouTube content again. You can also enable an individual blocked video through its placeholder.

Manage your choices

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Local storage can remain until cleared; session storage generally lasts for the current tab or browsing session. These technologies have different purposes. A request to an external service can also disclose your IP address and browser information even when it does not set a cookie.

Necessary and functional storage observed

Security — Cloudflare

__cf_bm, supplied through the hosting security service, helps distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Duration: approximately 30 minutes; it may be refreshed during a visit.

Your choices — Complianz

The cookies cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_policy_id remember banner status, choices, permitted services and the version of those choices. Duration: up to 365 days, unless replaced or cleared sooner. Category names inside cookies are technical labels; a statistics cookie recording “deny” does not mean an analytics service is running.

Consent support — Complianz

cmplz_cookie_data is session storage supporting the site’s consent handling. An empty record was observed in the clean visitor check. Duration: current tab or session.

Emoji display — WordPress

wpEmojiSettingsSupports remembers whether the browser can display certain emoji, to support page rendering. Duration: current tab or session.

Before any optional choice, our clean visitor checks found the necessary security cookie and functional session storage, with no separate local-storage items. After rejection, Complianz remembered denied optional categories. Browser settings, page features and subsequent interactions can change what is stored.

YouTube: optional external media

Our embedded videos use YouTube, a Google service. The player is blocked before permission, including the autoplay video in the Midlife Ultra article. A placeholder explains how to enable it.

When you allow YouTube, your browser connects to its player and related services. YouTube receives information such as IP address, device/browser details and video interactions, and may use cookies or other storage under its own policies. The items and durations depend on the player, your Google sign-in state and browser controls; our checks do not establish a complete fixed list of YouTube cookies.

See Google’s cookie information and Google’s Privacy Policy. Withdrawing on our site stops the embedded player loading again; it cannot guarantee deletion of cookies that Google has already set on its own domains. You can clear those through your browser.

The interactive Route map

The Route page starts with an overview served by this website. Only when you choose to open the interactive map does it load the Leaflet library from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those providers receive your IP address and normal request information to deliver the map. Opening it does not request your device location.

This is a function you request, separate from optional YouTube consent. We do not describe these map requests as advertising cookies. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy for its handling of requests.

Forms, comments and future shop functions

Our enquiry forms work without optional video consent. They use Elementor and a local hidden anti-spam field; they do not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Information submitted in forms is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Where a comment form offers to remember your details, that is your choice; do not select it on a shared device if you do not want details remembered. External Gravatar avatars are disabled.

WooCommerce remains installed for a future merchandise shop. Necessary cart, account or session storage may be used if you request those functions. We have not launched the merchandise shop and have disabled WooCommerce Order Attribution. No optional source-attribution tracking is needed for the current site. We will review this policy before introducing real shopping, payment or marketing services.

Links and services we do not automatically load

JustGiving, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal, Revolut and social-profile links are ordinary outgoing links on the checked pages, not on-site payment forms or social feeds. Their services have their own policies when you visit them. The coffee button no longer needs an external Google Fonts request. No separate Google Analytics, advertising pixel or similar visitor-tracking service is enabled on the current site.

Browser controls and questions

Your browser can clear cookies/site data and restrict third-party storage. Clearing our consent cookies may cause the banner to ask again. Blocking all necessary storage can affect requested website functions. Private browsing and tracking protection may also limit what external providers can store, even after you allow a video.

For questions, contact Stephen and Terri at welcome@logintoourlife.com. We will review this page when the services or storage used by the website change.
